What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They are used to make websites work more efficiently and to provide information to the site owners.
Our Use of Cookies and Similar Technologies
EMLinter uses modern web technologies to provide functionality with minimal use of traditional cookies.
- Strictly Necessary —
localStorage: We use your browser'slocalStoragefor essential functionality. The Visual Editor uses it to save your template progress directly on your device. This is not sent to a server. - Analytics Cookies: Google Analytics sets cookies to measure anonymized, aggregate usage of the Service. These help us understand which tools are most useful and improve them.
- Third-Party Cookies: Some third-party services we use (Mailchimp, Firebase) may set their own cookies when their features load. We do not control these cookies.
Managing Your Data
You can clear your browser's localStorage and cookies at any time through your browser settings. You can also opt out of Google Analytics using Google's browser add-on. Disabling storage will not break the core tools, though the Visual Editor will no longer remember your progress between visits.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
